Our story begins in the vibrant heart of Rajasthan, India – the beautiful city of Jaipur. Surrounded by centuries of breathtaking architecture, rich colours, and unparalleled craftsmanship, a deep love for the world of handicrafts took root from a very young age. This inspiration wasn't fleeting; it became the foundation for our vision. Our founder's background includes an education in Craft Design, deep immersion in traditional techniques, and experience creating successful craft-based brands within India.

Life then brought a wonderful new adventure: a move to Sydney, Australia. This new chapter was exciting but also presented unique challenges – adapting to different ways of doing things, a new culture, and building connections from scratch. This experience was formative and deeply influenced the direction of the brand.

It was during this period of transition and learning that the seed for Indri Handcrafted Luxury was planted. We saw an opportunity to build a bridge between two worlds – to share the incredible beauty, authenticity, and skill of Indian artisans with our new home in Australia. But we wanted to do more than just import; we envisioned creating something special for Australians. Our goal became curating and designing high-quality Indian handcrafted products with a unique 'touch of Aussieness', making them perfect for everyday living here.

Starting Indri wasn't always easy. There were moments of doubt and the hurdles that come with building something new in an unfamiliar environment. But driven by perseverance and a deep-seated passion for these crafts, we pushed through, and Indri Handcrafted Luxury came to life right here in Sydney.

Our mission remains simple yet heartfelt: to bring quality Indian handcrafted products, thoughtfully designed for everyday Australians, to homes across Australia. We celebrate the story behind each piece, the skill of the hands that made it, and the unique blend of heritage and contemporary style.
